at 1.46kg it’s significantly heavier than the LG Gram 16 (1.2kg) Having had a couple Grams, as long as it is better built, it is not a drawback. Grams are paperweight because they're also as well built as paper.

Disagree. While I am not an expert on thinkpad, you can certainly get a lightweight portable laptop with a 14 inch or larger screen. Does Lenovo really not have anything competitive with an LG Gram or a MacBook Air 15?

I bought a 17-inch LG Gram with an i7 155H processor. It had a heating problem, so I sold it after 3 months of use. LG was disappointing to me, despite being very lightweight.

Great, I double checked with the lg site and it says the same thing, same size battery for the same 17 model:https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-17z90tl-h.aub7u1-gram-laptop Guess it's just the 17" that comes with the 3050 that has the bigger battery.
