ThinkPad X9-15 Aura “Moonlight White” Limited Edition Review
at 1.46kg it’s significantly heavier than the LG Gram 16 (1.2kg) Having had a couple Grams, as long as it is better built, it is not a drawback. Grams are paperweight because they're also as well built as paper.

I ADORE this laptop (coming from a lifetime Windows user)
Broken how exactly? Because I am confused how can you break an LG gram. Sure, it flexes too much and it can develop floating defects because of that, but to break off screen would require a lot of force.Maybe screws just got lose and it popped out? Either way that's a design fault, they were too occ

Mac OS, Windows, Linux and RAM compression. Is 8GB enough? (spoiler: maybe)
...Well there are metal options tooIdk, I opened newegg, and I don't see any. $600-850 range. Intel/AMD only (because I don't consider snapdragon to be useful, since nobody compiles software for ARM/Windows)So if you can find $600-850 metal laptop, I'd really be amazed. You need to check disassembly th

LG Gram Pro 16Z90U-H.AU87U1 at Costco
Actually the weight is .2 lbs higher Vs actual 2026 models. I guess this is somewhat of a using up old lg gram pro hardware with panther lake U 2026 processor.. basically you get a 2025 lg gram pro somewhat. Does it have aerominimum lid (cold metal feeling or is the lid magnesium similar temperature

LG Gram Pro 17" 2025 - beyond insulting thermal paste application, 80% of the die was naked; awful thermal design too, plenty of room for bigger heatpipe and heatsink. This is aswful engineering from LG. This laptop could have used much higher power limits.
I'm going to have to agree here; my LG Gram 17 is the same weight as my 14" ThinkPad T14S Gen 1 that has very adequate cooling, so clearly it can be done without adding a significant amount of weight as that is a laptop that doesn't have any other major weight reduction methods in place. The only re

ThinkPad suggestions for travel
Disagree. While I am not an expert on thinkpad, you can certainly get a lightweight portable laptop with a 14 inch or larger screen. Does Lenovo really not have anything competitive with an LG Gram or a MacBook Air 15?

Do 2024 LG Gram still have overheating issues?
I bought a 17-inch LG Gram with an i7 155H processor. It had a heating problem, so I sold it after 3 months of use. LG was disappointing to me, despite being very lightweight.

LG gram 17" Intel Core Ultra 7 $1600 or LG gram 16" Intel Core Ultra 9 $1750
Great, I double checked with the lg site and it says the same thing, same size battery for the same 17 model:https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-17z90tl-h.aub7u1-gram-laptop Guess it's just the 17" that comes with the 3050 that has the bigger battery. Note that neither of these is the "2 in 1" model. I
