My custom Steam Machine has no CEC, so I setup some systemd services to send WOL packets to my TV when it boots or wakes, thus turning the TV on automatically. :D

https://github.com/JPersson77/LGTVCompanion this is what I use on my Windows machine for my LG C2 being used as a monitor.

Bazzite has worse performance and problems then WIN on my PC

Yes, at least should, can't say from my experience, I'm on LG C2 for couple of years now, so tied to HDMI sadly

Jellyfin on webOS (LG)

Jellyfin app works great on the LG C2. Only complaint is navigating the Live TV guide is unusable.

Genuinely impressed!

Oh mainly using it on my Galaxy tab 9 ultra beast of a tablet, games run great and I have gigabit internet so works great on wifi and of course better if I hard wire with my USB C dock. I've been playing forza, starwars jedi fallen order, and destiny 2. I really want arc raiders but on a budget and

Whats the best streaming client option for an LG TV owner?

Honestly the web os app via developer mode on the tv & downloading the web os moonlight GitHub client . I have a decent lg tv ( I have the c2 oled) with a usb to Ethernet plugged into it & get around 6-8ms with 1440p 120hz and it’s sublime. Maxed out at 95-100mb bitrate

VRR on PCs without dedicated GPU?

I've actually gotten VRR to work with an AMD Radeon 6600M and the LG C2 under Windows (never tested Linux with this combo). The gaming menu and hidden VRR stats (press the green button 7 times) clearly showed the refresh rate adapting via FreeSync. It also works with my Nvidia RTX 3060 under Linux (

What screen would you pick for Flightsimming?

I have an lg c2 42 and and lg c5 48. the 48 is used for simming and console games and the 42 is used for everything else. I honestly don't think ill ever use anything else. These TVs are amazing. Just beware you lose some monitor functions like it turning on automatically when you turn on your pc.

Guys how to fix this?

I have an LG C2 and base Ares controller. I plugged in the Ares dongle, pressed a button on the controller, and the TV detected it instantly and it was connected.

Don't find OLEDs to be "Infinitely better" as people seem to insist

I actually use an LG C2 42 inch (4k). The text is much better on linux. It is mostly a windows issue.
