Bought LG TV but discovered 539 hours of usage — Croma refusing return. What are my options?
Escalate to LG’s MD office through their website. They will definitely help. I got a C2 OLED from Vasanth & Co with 1695 hours on it. LG Service team basically forced Vasanth & Co to replace the unit at my doorstep. Unfortunately, due to the lax consumer laws in our country, a brand new replacement

So this TV is dying, right?
Contact LG even if Out of Warranty. There are reports of them offering a good will panel replacement in similar cases. Just checked my C2 thoroughly and the panel is still in pristine condition

Varning inför Black Friday
Jag har haft min lg c2 sedan 2022, än så länge inte tecken på burn in alls. Sitter mest och jobbar på den så var rädd att windows 11 (ush) skulle bli inbränt.

Deliberately Burning In My QD-OLED Monitor - 21 Month Update
10k+ hours on oled monitors are unrealistic but not really if you count the Lg c series owner like cx c1 c2 you can find most of them on r/lgoled. Some of them are using 42 inch/48 inch as desk monitors. Only them would have 10k+ hours as most oled monitors are relative young in the market, the 1440

Simming on OLED TV, concerns
I bought a 4K OLED (LG C2) in january 2024 and have been using it as my main monitor for everything (flight sim, browsing, work, everything). It's on for multiple hours almost every day. Absolutely zero burn-in. I do run it on lowest brightness (which is more than enough for my room, and too bright

Fiquei bigode!!! 🥸 LG C4 OLED

Got cheated by Mahajan Electronics, Raja Garden (Delhi) – beware!
Bro, even I have an LG OLED (LG C2 42" bought two years ago).. Trust me, now OLED display tech has improved a lot and burn-in is no longer an issue. Lg has a lot of software tools built in to prevent burn-in 255 hrs is not a lot, so unless there is some manufacturing defect, don't stress too much..

what were the most important purchases that you made in your 40s that you wish you had made earlier in your 20s and 30s?
unfortunately almost everything you buy will eventually become worthless and outdated, so just remember that. The best thing I figured out was never buy the latest thing when new, always wait a year or till the next model comes out. I waited 2 years till I bought a PS5, all the bugs were ironed out

4K
Your TV is a long-term investment that will affect how all of your movies will look. You’re going to have it for years and if it’s got a mediocre image, that’s going to hamper all of your sweet 4K discs. In other words: don’t skimp. The general consensus seems to the LG C-series. The C4 is the newes

Gaming and burn in
I’ve had three Samsung phone OLED screens over the last 6 years after LG stopped making phones. My LG C1 and C2 worked flawlessly and the friends and family who bought them off me reported, they still work great and look great. I've gone through two panels on my S95B TV since buying it in 2022 and i
