How to disable ACR on your TV (and why you shouldn't wait to do it)

I absolutely despise smart TV's. I just want a beautiful dumb OLED panel. For my LG C2, I had to accept the voice recognition terms of use to be able to see the option to disable that feature. TV OS's are spyware.

Bazzite has worse performance and problems then WIN on my PC

Linux doesn't have native HDMI2.1 support, so if you use something like LG C2 42" TV as a monitor which only have 4 HDMI outputs, getting 4K@120Hz with HDR, VRR and at 4:4:4 getting near to impossible. Workaround is by using Cable Matters active DP > HDMI adapter which let you do that, but comes wit

Triple 32" 4K Monitors vs Triple 42" 4K OLED TVs — Anyone Running Triple 42"?

Running 4k isn’t a realistic goal for a 5090. You’ll have a hard enough time running 1440p with high settings at a decent frame rate with a 3080. I have used a 3080/4090/5090 and experimented with the 42” C2 LG OLEDs I had. Ended up going with flat 32” IPS after looking at a ton of different options

PSA: What to know about the the Analogue 3D before you ask

I have an LG C2 with a Samsung Q60C soundbar connected over HDMI CEC. Whenever I finish playing and the off the 3D, I lose all audio / ability to control the soundbar over CEC and have to reset everything. The only thing that works is unplugging all HDMI cables from the TV, turn everything off, and

Deliberately Burning In My QD-OLED Monitor - 21 Month Update

Bro you're using a tv😂 You're pulling the other sterio type of someone claiming oled monitors are amazing while using a oled tv which is so far more advanced than oled monitors it's not even funny. They don't have the brightness issues and are significantly more resistent to burn in. This is r/monit

For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it?

I have a lg c2 and an ultragear 32, I can tell you that on the c2 the burn in has appeared in the panel a little older so you can stay there... now I only use it as a TV and the burn-in is not a problem. Try to buy newer models and activate all kinds of protection that the monitor has.

[RX 9070 XT] System freezes and reboots when turning the screen back on — any ideas?

I know I'm late, but I have the same problem. 9800x3d and 9070xt. I've never had this problem before this GPU. I'm running a 42" LG C2 via HDMI. Sometimes it takes many minutes to show my PC screen after I turn it back on. PC is always running. Sometimes it even crashes my PC. I've also had times wi

Newly purchased Vizio TVs now require Walmart accounts to use smart features

Funny thing I found out about Walmart is when you go out and buy name brand TVs you got to be careful because Samsung LG and all those other companies make gimped sets with special model numbers mimicking the real Flagship models only for walmart. I don't know if there's other retailers that get it
