Is a curved monitor superior in every way to a flat screen? Is it worth it? Curved monitor owners what's your take?

I would go with a 45" OLED from LG (either the 5k2k version or it's predecessor with lower resolution but still OLED; 1.418€ vs 977€ on Amazon in Germany). 49" gives you more content on the sides and is in return limited in the height. 45" makes more sensé, especially with 800r curve on a rig.

Gamers, what's the best PC gaming monitor to buy as of today 2026?

Hmm so if you're more into just high fps playing competitive shooters and what not I'd get a 34uw 1440p oled monitor. If you're more into single player games you could use ray tracing but without it and 2x fg used for some games and others just dlss. You could run 4k games. But best monitor right no

Dream Air first-batch warning - check both eyes carefully for mura / panel uniformity issues

Could this be a panel calibration issue? I am asking this because I recently bought the 45" OLED LG Monitor (45GX950A-B), and I almost returned it because of a horizontal striping issue that looks similar to the image you uploaded. Even the colors were a bit disappointing (coming from a previous OLE

52" 5k2k 21:9 or 45" 5k2k 21:9

I think it’s a toss-up on the LG’s, the 52” is wider of course by abt 7” I think, but if you can get the screen as close as possible to you, between the wheelbase & wheel with extension, the 800R curved 45” may get you almost as much FOV due to the greater curve. Another option is the Samsung G9. I

I think I finished my first audiophile setup :D

Of course !The monitors are KRK Rokit 5 (G4)the sub, a KRK S8.4Also added a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, it outputs a symmetric signal, removing static noises produced by my computer and screen. The screen is the LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A-B, quite expensive, quite large (45inches, 5k), but would 100% r

Råd / anbefaling til ny monitor? 🖥️

How accessible is 2560x1440P today on a hardware-level? Considering to upgrade from my 1080P

My workhorse Costco “impulse buy” a few years ago has a 4060 in it. I powers my LG 45” 2560x1440 OLED monitor just fine. I’ve since built a 5090-powered beast that’s hooked up to the LG 45” 5k2k OLED, but the 9060xt should be more than capable of pumping out some sweet, sweet ultrawide 1440p gaming
