You can read this very insightful analysis of Dylan on his alienware review : https://www.xda-developers.com/dell-alienware-aw3225qf-monitor-review/#hdr-brightness QD-OLED and WOLED display have a different behavior. 1-3% window size cannot be translated to actual content. You need to convert it to

I switched from the lg ultra gear oled. The Samsung panel is fine for sim racing. But its short comings are really noticeable when you play anything else. You can forget about hdr. Triple a games look like shit on it. Colors are way duller and washed out.

sorry didn't get a notif for this. my model is the LG 32GS95UE-B. I don't particularly recommend it. the newer gen tandem oleds are way better and have glossy screen (I cannot emphasize how shitty the matte coating is on most oled displays). the scaling artifacts are quite bad for me at 1080p 24 and

I had to return 2 32gs95ue monitors because I could see it in every grey and near black scene within games. It is very distracting and is almost as though you are playing on a dirty screen. Like I mentioned though, some monitors are better than others, so if you win the panel lottery great for you,

In case of FHD→4K scaling, the native/logical resolution ratio is 2.0, nothing to do with 1.5. Specifically in case of 32″ dual-mode WOLED monitors such as LG 32GS95UE, it’s not even regular scaling blur. The image looks like each logical pixel is shifted horizontally by 1 physical pixel. So one log

Since you need this to last 4.5+ years and spend 12 hours a day with static coding/browsing, I really don’t think OLED is the right move for you. Even if you take care of it, long-term tests from Optimum (using the LG 32GS95UE) and Monitors Unboxed (MSI 32URX) show burn-in appearing after just 2 yea

Yes the Qm8 HDR and brightness was significantly better than the LG. Imo the Qm8 color just popped way more it looks really good compared to my 32gs95ue. Not sure if that's because its glossy? I would think an oled would beat a VA regardless. As far as blacks goes the 32gs95ue was much better than t

I know, I thought that too at the time, but the reality is, I already had tried a 1200 euro 32gs95ue and a 600 euro MSI 323UPF with awful menus and unfixable color shift (bottom right quadrant was pink regardless of calibration settings), both were vastly inferior to the Phillips. These days, I'm im

That's a rough angle for me to view. It seems sharper than what the 1080 on the LG was, but hard to say. I was trying to figure out if I liked the 32gs95ue or the G81SF more. Got both and did a few days on each. Decided to stay with the G81SF which was cheaper, and looked better. I highly recommend

Check out this section, color luminance undertracks heavily, actually even at peak brightness low it behaves the same, could be this specific model and gets worse with PB HIGH : https://www.xda-developers.com/lg-32gs95ue-review/#color-performance-hdr Oh right I see what you mean about apl, yeah it's
