I’ve taken the position that a nice 4K monitor with high refresh rate (or 34” Ultrawide) will provide me a great user experience, over 5K slow refresh rate alternatives. Am I being reasonable?
I've bought a Mac Studio recently and had no cash left for a monitor. I used my existing LG 27GN950-B UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27” UHD (3840 x 2160), and I'm very happy with it. Crisp and clear. I think you'll be fine with a 4K display.
