Is it worth keeping? Levoit Core 600S-P
In Auto mode, it rarely runs because the number nevers [sic] go up to trigger it. I can't run it on turbo all the time; it is loud and consumes power like a beast. This is your problem. See the AHAM 2/3 rule. In a 600 sq. ft. space (with an 8 ft. ceiling), you need bare minimum Clean Air Delivery Ra

Need Advice for Buying Air Purifier(s)
Neither the Winix C909 nor the Levoit Core 600S-P would be enough. Per the AHAM 2/3 rule, a 2,400 sq. ft. home with 8 ft. ceilings would need minimum Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) of 1,600 CFM. Since you have cats and a dog, even higher CADRs would be a good idea. There's no single consumer-grade

Help! Need good purifier recommendation for moldy classroom.
They are ok but do note they are quite a lot louder to get their max cfm which is lower than the air Fanta 3 pro. If you can wait the few extra days I would think going for two air Fanta 3 pros would be a better option than two core 600s from levoit.

Very quiet yet high performance purifier advice?
The room size HouseFresh used for testing the Levoit Core 600S-P is 728 cubic feet. With an 8 ft. ceiling, this only 91 square feet. 400 sq. ft. is going to take much longer to clean (if it ever catches up) on low airflow speeds.

Air Purifier Recommendation
Thanks for the message and kind words! Not had a chance to test any Electrolux or AEG (as they seem to be sold here in the UK) I generally try to suggest that most people stick with the main brands that have been making air purifiers for many, many years... Levoit, Winix, Coway, SmartAir, Alen, IQai

I need some suggestions for an air purifier to run inside my apartment while doing pottery on the porch
Do not trust ChatGPT. It's wrong on several fronts yet again on purifiers. When sizing purifiers, use AHAM's 2/3 rule. In your case, the bare minimum CADRs for a 444 sq. ft. space (with an 8 ft. high ceiling) would be 296 CFM. The PuroAir 400 has CADRs of: Dust: 262 CFM Pollen: 286 CFM Smoke: 236 CF

Completely purifies a 635 sq. ft. room 5x per hour? so can it purify a 1500sqft area in an hour?
https://housefresh.com/levoit-core-600s-review/ measured the Levoit 600S as able to deliver a PM1 CADR of 375 CFM at max speed. Assuming eight-foot ceilings, and one 600S on each floor, then if your place is 1500 ft^2 per floor, that gives 1.9 ACH. If your place is instead 1500 ft^2 total, and thus

Air purifier for wildfire smoke that won’t break the bank
The Levoit Core 600S-P and the AirFanta 3Pro do not have much activated carbon/other sorbents by weight. The Oransi TrueCarbon 150C would be better, as the filter contains 3.2 lbs. of potassium permanganate (KMnO₄) impregnated activated carbon. However... Wildfire smoke is changing, highly complex,

Choose between airmega 450 and Philips 4200 for odours
Thank you for your response! Unfortunately the offers here are extremely limited. Just one of the listed products are available here and just two of the brands mentioned. I could get a Levoit core 600s but it makes me confused since the CADR is so low compared to the two I’ve mentioned? Winix sells

Between Phillips and Winix
I highly recommend the Winix 5500-2. It replaced my Levoit Core 350, and while I originally thought the Levoit was doing a good job, two major things changed my mind: 1. Levoit was caught lying about their filters. Many Core series filters weren’t actually HEPA, despite being marketed that way. Thei
