No the whole long filter life is a marketing scam. It’s also rating not changing the filter till 50% of cdar is lost which is very clogged. You are better off just getting g the c909 or other similarly priced levoit like the vital 200,core 600s, coway etc

It depends how big your room sizes, as you need at least 2 for full proper coverage. One large in main area, and one small/medium in bedroom. I have a 750 foot square apartment and have 8x units. But I inherited an old smelly carpet here,.mold was present, and I have allergies. So you won't need 8.

Yes, so Levoits are an excellent brand that do not have ionizers by default. (Only their "plasma pro" line has ionizers, all others do not.). So as someone else said the Core line is excellent, so there is the Core 600,400, and 300 and another good one, with square design is the Vital 200s. So some

Levoit core 300s for small room, Vital 200S for big one. Got both for ~300€ at Amazon de deal. I took Vital because of placement issues, otherwise Id go with core 600s. Phillips seems a bit more expensive locally.
