Yes, so Levoits are an excellent brand that do not have ionizers by default. (Only their "plasma pro" line has ionizers, all others do not.). Levoit core 600S here. Probably overkill based on my 1,100sf area but here in AZ it's mighty dusty and a dog to boot so I wanted it to more than take care of things. I leave it on 24/7 on high. Works great.

The room size HouseFresh used for testing the Levoit Core 600S-P is 728 cubic feet. With an 8 ft. ceiling, this only 91 square feet. 400 sq. ft. is going to take much longer to clean (if it ever catches up) on low airflow speeds.

Thanks for the message and kind words! Not had a chance to test any Electrolux or AEG (as they seem to be sold here in the UK) I generally try to suggest that most people stick with the main brands that have been making air purifiers for many, many years... Levoit, Winix, Coway, SmartAir, Alen, IQai
