top picks are easily levoit core 400s or winix5500-2, they are very efficient and have sleep mode that is extremely quiet. Could go with either one but I'd personally pick levoit, have one at my office and bedroom.

Hello! I just disassembled my Levoit Core 400s completely and would like to come back to share the wisdom. There appears to be a new design of clip, it is definitely more difficult to remove than what other people show online, but still doable without really any functional damage and minimal damage

We have Levoit Core 400s in two rooms for nearly 18 months. Quite happy.
