Is this the Core 300? If so, this is an incredible deal. There’s nothing wrong with Levoit purifiers. They are a great budget option and perform well as long as you get ones that are appropriately sized for your space or multiple units.

The Levoit Core 300 provides 154 CFM... at 54.5 decibels. So in practice it's going to be turned down to Medium, where it produces roughly 80-90 CFM. Since they're trying to address dust (which requires high airflow) I'm not sure that will be enough? A box fan will produce 400 CFM at the highest fan

I’m a levoit guy and recently upgraded one of my core 300 (not a smart unit) to a vital100s for my living room, moving the smaller core units to my bedrooms. They work great- I have a dog and a cat on top of candles constantly. We hardly notice any smells anymore with the new unit in the living room

I believe good quality sensors are fairly expensive. I relied mostly on independent research for how effective the different filter brands are. I will say a cheap levoit core 300 in the master bedroom cleared up one of my cats' seasonal allergies, and helped with my sinuses.
