Ok so it is a fool’s errand; I’ve had people tell me that my Yoga 9i would be more than enough. They talking out of their asses?

You made a good purchase honestly — the Zephyrus G16 is a great machine. But since you're asking, let me give you the honest comparison. Your thermal concern is the most valid part of this whole question. The Zephyrus is thinner than the Legions which means less room for cooling. For quick gaming se

I hope the option for X9 and X7 Panther Lake chips will be available, because those have very strong iGPUs that make it worthwhile. The main issue, is the pricing will blow out tremendously, reaching 16" M5 Pro Macbook Pro territory (3-year Applecare included). So, do you still think it is worthwhil

I play a lot of PC games, but completely agree with you. They're not gaming laptops. But like you said almost all reviews have a massive section on gaming performance. I find this to be particularly daft because it says nothing about the day to day experience. I bought a Yoga 9i Aura a couple weeks

i feel like a lot of the panther lake gains were made in the integrated graphics department... so paying a premium for the new cpu and pairing it with a graphics card doesn't make a lot of sense to me that said if the yoga pro 9i with the 5070 is available for anywhere near the proart p16 5070, i'll

As others have mentionned, Apple Silicon is going to be the most affordable for the given performances. I'm windows and Linux through and through but: I'm running a very powerful windows desktop, and that's great, but it is not portable in the slightest It runs linux, and you can run DaVinci Resolve

The problems with the Lenovo Yoga pro 9i I find are the 2242 slot and 2280 slot compared to the dual 2280 slots. Makes it a bit annoying on the future for upgrades. The lenovos do seem to be quite power limited with thier 170W chargers. For $400 more and with a better GPU and more storage its a no b

The yoga 9i is a lot less gamey and there is a thinkbook line with RTX series. Don't need to get the professional gpus.

RTX5070 laptop GPU has 40% RT cores and Tensor cores than the RTX5060. It will make a big difference in any graphics acceleration relying on them, eg DLSS, AI denoise, generative AI features in Photoshop, etcThe bigger issue is the price of the fully loaded Yoga Pro 9i matches Apple's 16-inch M5 Pro

It's only on the tandem one but from what I have seen on the display model at my best buy and on the yoga pro 9i subreddit it does become less noticeable when the brightness is higher but that destroys the battery life which really doesn't need any help being mediocre. Kinda why I decided for the re
