The yoga pro 9i will be a better "all around" laptop, more premium feeling and probably will last longer. The Asus will be faster, if you care about that. Depends on what you value more.

Battery life. The current Apple Silicon Macs are completely unbeatable when it comes to battery life. Heat/fan noise. The M chips produce much less heat than a typical x86 CPU. Premium feeling/build quality. I have yet to use a Windows laptop that feels as premium as a MacBook (and I own a Lenovo Yo

Dude, you are comparing a yoga 7, which is a low end convertible with literally the most premium non convertible laptop from lenovo (yoga pro 9i). Thats no even fair. Some reviews put the yoga pro 9i the best "all around" laptop nowadays

I have a older X1 Carbon and a new Yoga Pro 9i with Intel 285H, NVIDIA 5070, brilliant 4k monitor, 64 MB Ram. I absolutely love it. BUT I also ordered the new X1 Carbon Gen 14 2 weeks ago for the following reasons: - it's really super light and my number 1 travel Notebook - it has the best keyboard

I have failed the cult. I am officially handing in my TrackPoint card. I looked at the T1g Gen 8 and then I looked at the Yoga Pro 9i Aura. They have the same DNA: 64GB RAM, RTX 5070, and that identical 3.2K OLED panel. But then I saw the price tag on the T1g was basically a down payment on a house.

Because the FW12 is already so close to something that we (power users) could want. Also, a FW12 Pro would be distinct from the FW12, so I don't get what the issue is. We're not asking them to change the FW12. Had Framework added an option or something for a 2-in-1 hinge for the FW13 Pro, we wouldn'

Tandem OLED is the biggest game changer feature I have seen on a laptop in more than 10 years imo - since Mac Pro Retina displays forces everyone to step up their game. Literally everything looks so much better on a tandem OLED. I have a yoga pro 9i gen 9 with mini led and gen 10 with tandem oled. T

I got the yoga 9i 2in1 with intel ultra 7 258v process because Lenovo decided not to deliver me the yoga 7. I would have to say the yoga 9 is so premium I love everything about it the hinges seem sturdy and the touch screen is really smooth and responsive. The processor is incredible especially the

For engineering, you likely want Windows. Some CAD programs are Windows-only and will take advantage of a discrete GPU found in better Windows laptops. Your school likely has a webpage that outlines the minimum and recommended specs for an engineer's laptop; take a look and try not to go below the "

Yogas are great. Lightweight, solid build quality, convenience of the 2 in 1, decent battery, and depending on the specs good performance. I have a Yoga 9i with a 4K OLED display and i7. Don't get a gaming laptop. They're loud, heavy, have terrible battery life and get hot. Plus you'll have to carry
