Are wild and sccache good for fast development?
I use the mold linker (on linux), and use multiple worktrees to limit how much recompiling goes on. Also I point rust analyzer to a different directory, which keeps it from thrashing your target dir. Also having a fast computer helps. I am on a Lenovo P3 Tiny Gen 2 (64 gb ram, intel core 9, 2tb disk

These tiny systems are getting wild, dedicated GPU, 3 SSDs, serviceable CPU and DRAM
The base configuration in the EU is worse yet more expensive (even if you ignore the current sale in the US and manually add the US tax). Looks like the rest of the world is again subsidizing the lower product prices in the US. US: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/model/workstations/thinkstation-p-serie

Help me to Find a Riser for my 225$, I7 14700T Lenovo M90q Gen 5 Machine Type 12TJ
More info- The p3 gen2 still is a 'Tiny 8' by lenovos scheme and has the same replacement part. BLD Tiny8 PCIex16 N Riser car Ersatzteil-Nr.: 5C50W00933 I guess it's safe to assume that lenovo didn't redesign the format in between https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/de/de/products/workstations/thinkstation

Does a new affordable MiniPC with non-obsolete hardware no longer exist?
The Dell OptiPlex, Lenovo ThinkCentre M-series, HP EliteDesk 800 Mini / EliteOne, ASUS NUC Pro (purchased from Intel) and Fujitsu ESPRIMO Q-series are likely the top consumer/office systems. They all decent quality systems for what they offer. Minisforum, Beelink, GMKtec, etc are the cheapest of che

need some info about lenovo tiny's and prodesks etc...
I have a P330 with an rx6400 and two NVMe drives as my spare steam box. I did put an Arc Pro A40 in it, but without re-bar and/or above 4g decode it's useless. Lenovo locking down the BIOS and whitelisting Nvidia cards is extremely frustrating. Unless you really need the tiny form factor, a Dell pre

Asus NUC 15 pro+ for onPC?
The actual MA3 full size is pretty light on specs. I chose this Lenovo P3 tiny workstation because it beats it in every category, sometimes by double, and has plenty of video outputs. https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/workstations/thinkstation-p-series/lenovo-thinkstation-p3-tiny-gen-2-intel/30k60009us

Do I need a "proper" server for a small company, or Mini PCs like Beelink will do?
I'm a home laber and have bought several new mini PCs and more recently a new Dell R660xs. I play around with LLMs and the 4x greater memory bandwidth of the Poweredge really makes playing with 235b models doable while running 30 VMs and containers simultaneously. The only thing my little Lenovo P3
