X220 tablet and battery blues
The X220T is old enough that I wouldn't trust any original Lenovo battery. It's probably been 10 years since they manufactured one. So I would stick with 3rd party batteries.

X220. Are these all the "upgrades" I need to do to make it run it's best?
I only did this after people were complaining to verify reports I saw in forums at the time. Gave 90W bricks to people who complained after that and deployed the BIOS updates Lenovo published - of course those needed to be tested beforehand, and they were frequent and followed by the next one in qui

X220 tablet and battery blues
I second this. I bought a genuine original Lenovo battery for my X220 (not tablet version) and it arrived totally uncharged. I charged it fully hoping for the best but only got slightly over an hour out of it. It had obviously been lying in an uncharged state and could barely be revived. Go with a 3
