Chat, is this real? 2025 and only Laptop Apple MacBook decent than windows?

Gak ada yang absolut. Semua tergantung kebutuhan. Perlu ringan? Keduanya ada, tergantung budget. Perlu battery life? MacBook with Apple Silicon, hands down. Perlu build quality? Keduanya ada. Jangan bandingin laptop Windows 5 juta (N100 di OP, are you kidding me?) dengan MacBook Pro 20 juta. Perlu l...

Juiced back up

My coworker is totally in on the bambu train. He bought a P1S, sold it because he wanted the shiny stuff of the x1 carbon. 4 month later sold the x1c to buy the H2D and now has sold the H2D to buy a H2C, not even half a year later. That would drive me nuts.

T14s Snapdragon 64GB OLED - the ultimate ARM workstation

100% agree. This is the best Windows PC on the market right now and it isn’t close. Only way it can be bested is if Lenovo decides to stop putting Intel shit into its X1 Carbon line. How did you get that deal?

"Found it like this when I came in today"

Honestly just looks like normal wear and tear on a Lenovo carbon X1 7th or 8th gen. The user doesn't look to have done anything drastic. This just wears out over time.

Switched from M2 Air to the X1 Carbon 13th Gen. Some first impressions

_UPDATE 2: I returned it. The coil whine was driving me mad. It was not only during load but it also appeared during less stressfull scenarios like browsing and office work :/ Total no go for me. You can find a youtube link in this post. Then there was the issue with the speakers doing a "plop" soun...

Where does the common idea/meme that Linux doesn't "just work" come from?

Genuine question: do you think that people don't experience problems with Linux? The way you're phrasing the question in your 2nd paragraph makes it sound like you've not seen the frequest support posts that are made every day on practically every linux subreddit. I'm sure there are some idiots out ...

Got the Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura edition and noticed the right Ctrl key was replaced with Copilot + fingerprint. Is there any way to remap Copilot to Ctrl?

This is the laptop https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpadx1/thinkpad-x1-carbon-gen-13-aura-edition-14-inch-intel/len101t0108. I didn't notice it before but now that it's in front of me, the right Ctrl key, which I use all the time for Ctrl-left/right, is missing entirely and has be...

Second class citizen’s laptop in an MBB sweatshop

Company EDR going ham on every file, System Integrators like Lenovo not giving a fuck to properly update their drivers for W11, bottom of the barrel cooling solutions (engineered for some low voltage CPU 10 years ago) and bad thermal paste (and badly applied too) are the main culprits of why your la...

Leaving Dell for Lenovo

We were with Dell for 7 years exclusively. Then went to Lenovo for 7 years. But had issues selling their servers because they were a generation behind. Then went hit two issues…. They had massive supply chain issues where stock was always hard to come by and they released really bad clicky touchpads...
