Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 AMD Review Notebookcheck
"The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 with the AMD processor left an overall good impression in our test. You get a high-quality and stable business laptop with comfortable input devices and a bright display that just lacks a higher frequency. The LowPower display requires little power, which leads to very

Recommandation pour laptop
Salut !

Thinkpad with numeric keypad
After looking a bit more and a gift from a grandparent gave some additional dollars that has increased the budget. There is time to wait a bit. The P16 gen 3 seems to be the best fit. Couple of questions on this spec. 16 inch screen, num pad are a must which is a big limiter as you said. ThinkPad T1

laptop recs??
Hmmm there are definitely solid options under $1000 that can handle most schoolwork and look good. But it reallyyy depends on what you're gonna do with it. And also, what kind of classes are you taking that you're gonna use it in? If you’re mostly doing standard schoolwork (writing papers, browsing,

P16v gen 3 or T16 gen 5?
I have compared the performance of the new T16 Gen 5 Intel with some older thinkpads here: https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/1t3f3fh/t16_gen_5_intel_vs_t16_gen_4_amd_first_look/ For AI, MLperf runs really well on X7 368H T16 Gen 5 Intel compared to AMD AI 7 Pro 350 (apx 40% faster), and 300% faster t

Looking for good laptop for ECE specialisation (Lasts 4 years)
Honestly, I'd go with one of these Lenovo models - they're solid for your workload. But before you decide, here are some critical things you need to know. RAM and Storage Get as much as you can afford - aim for at least 32GB of RAM. Memory and storage prices have skyrocketed due to the AI boom, and

Thinkpad E16 Gen 2 & 3 vs Thinkbook 16 gen 7 & 8 Internals
Agreed with all your points. Here is the T16 gen 3 review by laptop media: https://laptopmedia.com/review/lenovo-thinkpad-t16-gen-3-review-fast-performance-great-display-but-can-get-hot/ It has a table for the stress test that compares it to thinkbook 16 gen 7 with same CPU (125U), and the thinkbook

Can anyone make sense of these specs? https://www.lenovo.com/us/outletus/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpadt/thinkpad-t16-gen-2-16-inch-amd/21k7x008us#tech_specs
Its definitely the AMD version. The Intel details they put theremake no sense since it displays the Intel Core i7-8665U Processor (4C / 8T, 1.9 / 4.8GHz, 8MB). The Gen 2 T16 use the 13th Gen Processors as you can see in the PSREF. Looks to be a good deal if its the AMD but AMD comes with Soldered no
