DPWH Bumili ng 5 Laptops worth 930,000 Pesos
200k per laptop is kinda justifiable, if for CAD applications. Using a CAD laptop for general office use, though, is a whole other thing that is both wasteful and stupid and should be highlighted more. Edit: one of those CAD laptops for reference: Lenovo ThinkPad P16

Laptop recommendations - didn't get any suggestions there, so trying my luck in the germany sub :)
With a budget cap at 1000 Euro and ruling out refurbished, I don't think you will be able to find anything ThinkPad-grade with a decent GPU. The cheapest ThinkPad P16 with a dedicated graphic card is around 1700 Euro. I guess you need to make your gaming requirements more concrete. Latest generation

The highest end Thinkpad P series laptop does not have a Ethernet Port!
I've just received my Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 which is configured as top spec. and was looking at porting everything from my now very slow T14 Gen 4. Migration Assistant from Lenovo seemed like the go to option, only to discover it is painfully slow via WiFi and then finding out that even though m

Books and computers are not an option when the seat ahead goes back.
If you'd ever flown with a large laptop, you wouldn't be saying that. I'm a regular size passenger (5'10", 180lbs) and with the seat in front of me reclined, I can't open my ThinkPad P16 screen more than about 55°, making it completely unusable.

How many LOQs are enough LOQs
ThinkPad p16 is quite expensive, perhaps it's a smaller business?

Is this backlight bleeding bad?
That's I want to say mostly normal? If you play a lot of games that are dark like Stalker 2, any horror games etc the bleed might get annoying, but that's very bad. It almost looks like there's too much pressure on the display with that amount of bleed. If you don't mind it then I wouldnt worth abou

Exclusive: This is Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable with display that expands, launches 2026 with Windows 11
Oh absolutely. I just bought an ASUS on Black Friday, Lenovo was a serious contender but I find Legions a bit ugly (I don’t like the extra piece behind the lid) and the ThinkPad P16 didn’t have an RTX… I just wanted to point out that this may be priced really up, which is a pity, since corpo nowaday

Which Laptop to Buy?
You don't need a ThinkPad P16, a P1 should be sufficient.

Thinkpad P16 G3 first benchmarks (285HX / RTX 4000 Blackwell)
thank you! Will have to search around to understand why memory is not running at 5600. In previous gens, that would be limited by the numbers of RAM slots being used: 2=full speed 4=limited speed.Given your feedback and looking especially at the last chart, it seems to me this system is capped alrea
