New Thinkpad Design Ugly

Hey, I have a ThinkPad P16 gen 2 in stormy grey. And what shall I say? It is much better than my ThinkPad T580, although T580 is much more handier & P16 gen 2 much more like a monster. The surface of the case is not that prone for finger prints and grease strains, only because eating chips and so on

Books and computers are not an option when the seat ahead goes back.

If you'd ever flown with a large laptop, you wouldn't be saying that. I'm a regular size passenger (5'10", 180lbs) and with the seat in front of me reclined, I can't open my ThinkPad P16 screen more than about 55°, making it completely unusable.

ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 (for work)

I think it’s a matter of habit — I’ve always used keyboards with numeric keypads. So personally, working on a PC without one feels impractical to me. For my use case (mainly with SOLIDWORKS), the ThinkPad P16 Gen3 chassis allows for much more powerful components than those available in the ThinkPad

Hot take

Not to obliterate your bubble here I do all of that, for $2500. ThinkPad P16 Gen2, 4K OLED, i9-13900HX + RTX ADA 4000, 6.5 pounds, 9 with the charger. Can run my entire steam library, including triple A' titles at 1440P/4K. Deal hunting eBay, it's also my work laptop as it has all the necessary CAD

Is this backlight bleeding bad?

That's I want to say mostly normal? If you play a lot of games that are dark like Stalker 2, any horror games etc the bleed might get annoying, but that's very bad. It almost looks like there's too much pressure on the display with that amount of bleed. If you don't mind it then I wouldnt worth abou
