Skip all the hype brands. Durable laptops with good Linux support are made by only 3 companies: Dell, Lenovo and HP. Discard all other options. I considered the 6th gen AMD variant even with the lesser CPU. The performance is nerfed. It doesn't have adequate cooling. The AMD version has 1 fan and heat pipe while the Intel version has 2 fans and heat pipes and generally runs a LOT better, that's why I'm also considering the ThinkPad P14s Gen
