Which model for me? Switching from Dell precision
P1 Gen7 would come closest in meeting your requirements. Has two drive slots, upgradeable RAM (theoretically at least, because the LPCAMM2 modules that model introduced are unobtanium in practice, not available anywhere) and a very decent 16" WQXGA (2560x1600) display option. 90Wh battery. Considering a thinkpad for photo editing: T1 maybe P1. Outrageous idea?
"The thinkpad P1 and T1g seem to fall in that ballpark, but I haven't heard much about these machines used in the same breath as "creative workstations."" newest is P1 / T1p Gen8 , but I not touch it and not see any reviews. In spec's Gen8 is Gen7 + core ultra 2xx instead of core ultra 1xx + new dGP

Options for Dual M.2 Slots
E14 Gen7 (current model) has two m.2 slots when equipped with either AMD or Intel Raptor Lake /Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 2xx -U and -H) CPUs. The otherwise vastly preferable Lunar Lake (efficiency!)
