Since this is for work and budget is pretty large, I would get something that is upgradable and fixable for long term longevity. So, I would get something recently genned L14 AMD or T14 AMD if you want 14 inch. If you need the extra keys, then T15 AMD or L15 AMD. So, gen 6 AMD fits your budget range

If you want to have some GPU power for casual gaming and otherwise use it as everyday laptop - at your budget check newer AMD-powered E- or L- series T-series will in most cases be above budget. or a generation or two older.
