Lenovo slim all the way and its not even close. M2 is going to get end of support in around 2years.

it is super easy to give a try. boot from the USB and play around with it without installing. I have settled on Fedora Linux, Ubuntu was also good. most of the time you won't even need a terminal to have everything setup and running. for Nvidia drivers will need to run some terminal commands though

Honestly I’d look at the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. It’s one of the few gaming laptops that’s still pretty portable and doesn’t get insanely loud during normal use. Battery life is also better than most gaming laptops, so it’s actually usable for college. Another good option is the Lenovo Legion Slim 5.

To be honest, I actually had a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (Ryzen 7-7840HS, RTX 4070, 16 GB RAM, 16”) up until January 10th this year, and it honestly did nothing but give me problems, and it ended up dying after about a year and a half.
