What I dont understand is how come ally x or msi claw not going up in price but lenovo handhelds is. Is there anything special about the legion handhelds? I have a msi claw 8 ai and it can run everything on par and sometimes better than legion go 2 for almost half the price.

Depends what you’re looking to get out of a handheld. Steam Deck is a much simpler experience and much more of a true “handheld”. It runs indies super well with no tinkering. Battery life is great. However its specs are aging and there’s a learning curve when it comes to leveraging SteamOS for mods

This will be expensive. It’s the first system that is finally using the Z2 and Z2 Extreme from AMD. The Lenovo Legion Go S uses a Z2 Go, which is basically the same/worse performance wise as the predecessor used in previous handhelds. That cost £479.99. Lenovo legion go 2 with the z2 extreme is great, but it is overpriced with current ram prices. onexplayer has a new handheld coming out that uses the legion go oled screen and has detachable controllers which will be as powerful as a desktop more or less. either that or wait for the next generation

I totally agree. I have a PS5 Pro and my Lenovo Legion Go 2 does not compare. If i were the OP I would look at getting a Lenovo LOQ. Its better just not a handheld

I would chose ally x as original legion go is famous for very poor cooling system. You will need to regularly open it and clean the fan, it gathers dust.
