31m, married, kids. How do you guys find personal joy?

32M, married, one 2 yr old. Also fine financially. For me, growing up I always played videogames (living in a state that’s cold 6 months of the year makes this a good hobby). I have less time for gaming now of course, but I still have an hour or two after my boy goes to bed. The kinds of games I pla

Windows FSE cannot be released if Lenovo don’t do its part

Lenovo never do anything fast , GPU Drivers for legion go 1 were a joke. There was 1 update in January 2025 and then the next one didn't come until August 2025 . In the meantime nobody could play doom dark ages unless you loaded the more recent Asus rog GPU driver onto the legion which I and many ot

Best Handheld PC?

My personal favorite is the Lenovo Legion Go S 32GB 1TB Z1 extreme with SteamOs because compared to the Legion Go 2 it's much lighter and more usable and the performances are not that far apart (With frame gen is a little beast now for AAA games). And it costs much less, with the coupon code I bough

Bestbuy is tripping

What I dont understand is how come ally x or msi claw not going up in price but lenovo handhelds is. Is there anything special about the legion handhelds? I have a msi claw 8 ai and it can run everything on par and sometimes better than legion go 2 for almost half the price.

Daily Discussion Thread: December 4, 2025

I got a bonus and so I splurged on a Lenovo Legion Go 2. It was as expensive as a laptop, but it was worth it to me to play games with a nice screen since I can't use my gaming PC for the foreseeable future with my infant still needing 24/7 monitoring. Well I guess life has a weird way of working ou

Nintendo Switch 2 display tests confirm why the handheld looks blurrier than the original

Where in the world did you hear the Deck OLED is 1? It’s 9 and some have it between 10 and 11. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-Legion-Go-S-gaming-handheld-review-Steam-Deck-killer-or-Windows-victim.961296.0.html

Do you guys take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere if you have a PC?

Yes. Lol. Xbox Play Anywhere is why I stopped using my Steam Deck and bought a Lenovo Legion Go (first gen; I'm not made of money), and I haven't looked back since. There's no reason for me to buy a game twice on steam or jump between accounts and setups. I get to keep Xbox as my primary place to pl

I Used To Be A Massive Steam Deck Fan, Four Years Later I Believe The Hype Is Gone And Is No Longer A Viable Option

You're right that other handhelds are more powerful than the Deck, but they're also a lot more expensive new. And the ones that aren't are either using the same chip (Xbox Ally) or perform similarly at their screen's native resolution (Legion Go S with Z2 Go). In your point about the Switch 2, yeah

switch 2 or steam deck (2?) pros and cons

I’d personally go with the Steam Deck. It’s a bit weaker than the Nintendo Switch 2 on paper, but the flexibility of SteamOS and access to the full Steam library more than make up for it. And if you feel like the Deck isn’t powerful enough, there are stronger PC handhelds out there like the MSI Claw

Purchased this rainbow Pro for $300!

Literally. Retro Game Corps's tutorial got me started and its just simple stuff from there, granted I have IT background and am a network engineer, this stuff was like second nature to me. Regardless, if people would follow the tutorial and set a couple hours outta their day to set up the Thor, its
