Steam Machine 16 GB of RAM vs Lenovo Legion Go S Steam OS 32 GB of RAM - which one is more powerful?
The Steam Machine has a far more powerful GPU in terms of CUs. It'll also have way higher clocks since it's not a handheld device. It also has 8GB of dedicated crazy high bandwidth VRAM that the Legion Go S's shared DDR5 pool could never compete with. The Steam Machine by a large margin.

If your Steam Deck Broke, Would You Buy Another One or a Different Handheld?
I sidegraded to the Legion Go S SteamOS version and I've sworn to never buy anything else but a Steam Deck again. While on paper it seems great, more power, better screen, steamOS, more ram, more everything. It also has it's downsides you realize when you actually use it daily. It's bulky and heavy

On August 6th, Legion go s Windows and Steam versions received the latest AMD drivers, and from January until now, Legion go og has not received any latest drivers at all. Is it worth waiting for the official AMD Legion og drivers? I'm afraid this will happen again with Legion go 2
Why would I buy another Lenovo device when they've shown zero commitment to supporting devices for any length of time? I keep seeing posts from their rep saying "I promise it will get better" and nothing happens. Unbelievable that Legion Go has received such poor driver support.

Which is the better option
Xbox Ally X way better if pricing is so close. Xbox Ally X is worth $300 more than Legion Go S at least.

Windows hate is overblown.
I think it's mostly around the current implementation of windows on handhelds. It's a standard version of windows, with some extra bits on top to shoehorn it onto handhelds. Steamos was purpose built with handhelds in mind. It's also based on arch Linux and runs only what's required. Whereas you got

Performance is better?Right now i'm with a legion go z2go 32gb of ram and performance is 20-30% better on it.You're sure you was playing at 800p on it? Because if not, then yeah, 1200p on the go s will give you worse performance than a steam deck at 800p...

Legion Go S Gets Price Hike: Z2 Go 512GB/16GB ($649 to $989). Z1 Extreme 32GB/1TB ($899 to $1579)
Legion Go S with Z1E is now almost $1600. $1000 for XaX is great value in comparison.

Extra RAM doesn’t provide any benefit for 1080p gaming. You could put 128 GB of RAM in the Lenovo Legion Go S, and it wouldn’t increase FPS compared to 32 GB.
