Steam Machine 16 GB of RAM vs Lenovo Legion Go S Steam OS 32 GB of RAM - which one is more powerful?

The Steam Machine has a far more powerful GPU in terms of CUs. It'll also have way higher clocks since it's not a handheld device. It also has 8GB of dedicated crazy high bandwidth VRAM that the Legion Go S's shared DDR5 pool could never compete with. The Steam Machine by a large margin.

If your Steam Deck Broke, Would You Buy Another One or a Different Handheld?

I sidegraded to the Legion Go S SteamOS version and I've sworn to never buy anything else but a Steam Deck again. While on paper it seems great, more power, better screen, steamOS, more ram, more everything. It also has it's downsides you realize when you actually use it daily. It's bulky and heavy

Which is the better option

Extra RAM doesn’t provide any benefit for 1080p gaming. You could put 128 GB of RAM in the Lenovo Legion Go S, and it wouldn’t increase FPS compared to 32 GB. You only start seeing benefits from more RAM when pushing higher resolutions or heavier textures, like at 1440p on devices such as the GPD Wi

Are the Z2 Extreme devices likely to significantly improve in the future with software/driver updates?

The thing the Xbox Ally X Z2E has over original Ally is bigger battery, more ram and USB 4.0 ports. Performance wise it's not much. So from OG ally to XAX it's an okay upgrade, from Ally X to XAX - nah. Legion Go S Z1E with 32GB ram (if it's in question) to XAX is not a great upgrade. I'm with Ally

Please help me choose which bang for buck. Xbox Ally x, legion go z1 extreme, legion go 2 or steam deck oled. I'm a newbie on this

New? Legion Go S and 2 are overpriced Steam Deck OLED is unavailable Xbox Ally X is the one Legion Go 1 has less memory than the Ally X Used? Go S Z1E 32GB: Good value if you want a bigger screen or SteamOS Steam Deck OLED - Good value if you prefer Steam OS, battery life, and best customer service.

AMD adrenalin software is a bigger problem than windows imho.

As I have white ally and legion go s I think Lenovo just has it integrated in a different way. Although I have to say even out of the box the white ally also had issues with it I had to reinstall it in factory reset state after many fails once I selected that it worked. On the legion go s you just c

What would be a good price in the UK to get the Lenovo Legion Go S z1e 32gb?

You can get the original Legion Go Z1E for around £300 on EBay, I got one including the dock for this price the other week. Obviously that's 16gb of RAM, as to if you think it's worth paying a lot more for 32gb of ram is subjective. Personally I feel by the time 16gb is not enough the Z1E will not b
