My $1000 laptop still doesn't have a full-function USB-C port in 2025. Why are manufacturers still cutting this corner?
€ 850 for Lenovo IdeaPad slim 5 with decent build quality, 2 usb C charging + data ports, 2 USB a ports, recent CPU, 32gb ram and 1tb ssd. Depends on the laptop you buy.

Butuh rekomendasi Ultrabook, tahann lama, enteng 12 jutaan
Gue kebetulan sempat research buat ini. Summary nya, 12jutaan itu SERBA NANGGUNG banget. Mesti pick your posion. Yang murah baterainya kecil banget, tapi RAM nya upgradable. Yang menengah, pilihannya udah beragam, tapi RAM nya gak bisa di ugprade. Yang mahal bisa nyentuh 16-18jt dengan the best batt

Anyone else deciding between the Lenovo Slim 7x and the HP Omnibook Ultra??
unfortunately, still the same for the new version with X2 edit: sorry, my bad: I received both the IdeaPad Slim 5x (X1) and the Yoga Slim 7x (X2) at work these days and checked the wrong device: IdeaPad Slim 5x (X1): Vantage does not offer a battery charge limit - boo! Yoga Slim 7x (X2): Vantage doe

How's ThinkBook 16 with R7 7735 HS have been ? Share your experience please.
The camera is really bad. Everything else seems to work fine. The battery is small though. 45Wh only (I get around 3.5 - 4hrs of battery under light usage). You can try for IdeaPad slim 3 with r7 8840HS. It has a 60Wh battery. Or IdeaPad slim 5 gen 10 with ai 7 350. The processor and battery combina

IdeaPad Slim 5x w/ Snapdragon X2 Plus 6-core Now Available for $850
This laptop seems to offer really good value competing against the IdeaPad Slim 5a (16") and IdeaPad 5i (16"). Not sure why they gave the Snapdragon model a 15.3" screen instead of a 16" one, though it is a significantly better screen: 15.3" 100% sRGB 1200p 120Hz IPS default or a 100% DCI-P3 1440p 1

Laptop for school, light gaming and programming.
If you want a touchscreen then the IdeaPad Slim 5 2 in 1. Other than that, you can look at the Slim 5 with 8845HS or the AI 7 350 AI 7 350 has slightly higher CPU performance and better battery life 8845HS has a slightly better GPU and is cheaper.

PH16-71? Should I trade?
I would concur with other poster, keep both. I have Neo 16s AI for desktop replacement (I ordered neo 16 AI) but they sent me 16s then negotiated a very juicy discount with the seller... And I have Lenovo IdeaPad slim 5 for 8 hour battery and portability when I travel out of town (and I just remote

I tested three Windows laptops in the MacBook Neo’s price range — there’s no contest
I'm wondering how Apple could copy from Lenovo, when they literally were the first to market with an aluminum unibody PC in 2008, and given that every laptop that Apple sells is aluminum. It's not even the same screen size. The IdeaPad Slim 5 is 13.3", this MacBook Neo is 13" flat. The problem, of c
