I agree with some of your points, but you can currently find an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H laptop with 32 GB of RAM, an OLED display, and 1 TB of storage for between $1,200 and $1,500. Take a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i with those specs and see if you can find anything comparable from Apple for l

Also consider the IdeaPads - I bought one with a GeForce 1050, then another with a GeForce 3050 five years later. They've worked great, have good battery life, look and feel MacBook-like (minimalist aluminum body) and have served me well gamedeving. https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/p/laptops/ideapad/ide

I will say go with Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5i if you are not interested in gaming. Gaming just makes no sense in budget constraints; better go with OLED laptops, which are reliable. You can go with the Core Ultra X7 variant if it is available in your country cause it is still not launched in many countri

U can go for IdeaPad pro 5i 16 inches from Lenovo official website which has 225h processor. It is a customisable laptop, so customise ram to 32gb. It has an oled display which could be good for u or bad it's ur own preference. It has all metal build, 84 whr battery, numpad, 16 inch screen, powerful

You're welcome. Yes I do see the edit now - all three appear to have 32GB of RAM.I'd still recommend going for the Vivobook simply because of the significant extra horsepower from that Core Ultra 9 285 and that beautiful 2.8K OLED. If your daughter will be around a lot of AI workloads, you might wan
