I agree with some of your points, but you can currently find an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H laptop with 32 GB of RAM, an OLED display, and 1 TB of storage for between $1,200 and $1,500. Take a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i with those specs and see if you can find anything comparable from Apple for l

Sorry for the late reply. Model : Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i I bought it for 80k last year. It has 84wh battery, and on my system for coding + youtube + 6-7 chrome tabs it consumes around 6-8 watts typically. So battery life from 100% to 0% for continuous use should be around 10-12 hours. I'm pretty happ

I use a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i with Intel Core Ultra 9 285H myself. I have never ever faced any such issues. I don't know if it's a poor selection of the product/laptop itself or a bad unit that is leading to all these issues but most users (of even beastly chips for that matter) don't face these iss

I will say go with Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5i if you are not interested in gaming. Gaming just makes no sense in budget constraints; better go with OLED laptops, which are reliable. You can go with the Core Ultra X7 variant if it is available in your country cause it is still not launched in many countri

Also consider the IdeaPads - I bought one with a GeForce 1050, then another with a GeForce 3050 five years later. They've worked great, have good battery life, look and feel MacBook-like (minimalist aluminum body) and have served me well gamedeving. https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/p/laptops/ideapad/ide

Lenovo Yoga Book 9i Gen 10, HP EliteBook X G2i, Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i (or 5a) are good options with solid top processors. Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite do not need dedicated GPU. For steam games, really depends on what kind of games you are playing (2D/indie or AAA).

Well if you want number then the soldered lpddr5x ram on my lenovo IdeaPad pro 5i , is 8555MT/s , comparing that to the sodimms , which are usually 4800 MT/s or even 6000 MT/s max , interms of pure speed I don't think it's that important unless you have a igpu or gpu on chip, which uses your RAM as

note the "Pro 5" in IdeaPad Pro 5. the IdeaPad Pro 5 is pretty much the highest end ideapad you can get lol, most ideapads out there are plastic build ideapad 1s and 3s, those are NOT durable. I can speak from experience. Also, just because a laptop uses aluminum doesn't mean it's actually durable.
