E14 displays are not the best, and the G3 had 4 options all 16:9 FHD, a 250 nit TN panel, that's worth avoiding. Nice deal. I was in a similar situation. Has a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14 but the keyboard is getting faulty after 2 times of replacement. So bought a thinkpad e14 gen 7. However the surprise for me is the ideapad 5 14 is having better build quality even after 5 years. Thinkpad slightly feels cheap.

E14 Gen 7 with 100% aluminum chassis? Even Lenovo think this ThinkPad does not exist.
