Best affordable mattress?
I went with the Layla mattress, but all of these memory foam mattress-in-a-box situations are pretty solid imo. IKEA is fine too, just couldn’t find a good match of comfort and price point for me. If you got money traditional mattresses are often worth it

It's official, Layla is garbage
I bought the Layla original memory foam two sided mattress over 6 years ago. It has been the best mattress I've ever had by far, including some that were many times the cost. No issues with sag, just a wonderful night's sleep every night.

Successful DIY Mega Thread
Less DIY and more slap-dash (I worked in reverse, top to bottom, using up the budget on a lot of toppers to try to fix a pre-existing Layla mattress; don't recommend this method). lightweight female 80% back, 20% side sleeper Key component: buckwheat pillow to prevent daily morning neck tension. (I

Has anyone here bought a layla mattress?
I have had the Layla memory foam mattress for six years and loved it until this year. I use the soft side primarily because my shoulder hurts on the firm side. This year, the soft side also feels hard. The hip and shoulder pressure is uncomfortable. It is still soft and cushy when pressing on it but
