You are not mentioning the size of the monitor you are looking for. There are a couple of options for clean apple like look and they do come around your budget. Alogic has a couple (27C5KPD?) , Kuycons (G27P, P20) I personally just received a Kuycon P40K (5K2K) which is outside your budget (~$1150)

I have a 5K Kuycon 27 inch monitor. It's beautiful. It's been working fine for 4 months. Comes with a tilt and height adjustable stand and a vesa mount. No speaker, no camera. I haven't used an apple studio display but it seems the ASD has a smoother stand. Cost for my Kuycon approx £800 including s
