4K Mini-LED Gaming Monitor Round-Up: What Model Is Best?

It's a bit disappointing that basically everybody doing reviews of miniled monitors mentions blooming but never inverse blooming, which is a way bigger problem in my experience especially with miniled IPS. I tried the KTC m27p6 for about 3 weeks and it's a big problem with the monitor. Anytime you h

Best affordable 4k 120hz Mini-Led monitor?

i just got the msi mag e16m. ask me anything. its not great as theres something wrong with the way local dimming works and you have to screw with the settings to mostly fix it, after tweaks the horrible LD artifacts are gone and color/brightness is roughly in line with my old monitor, but the dimmin

Crosshair is not centered (M27P6)

I can confirm that my M27P6 that I just got is also slightly off to the right now that you mention it. I had not tried this feature yet. Another nail in the coffin... I also found several dark spots, some of them up to 4 pixels in size, that are a bit annoying. Looks like debris between the backligh

Best Mini-LED 4K Monitor

There isn't a 27" model that is properly tuned with good firmware this is incredibly true. ive tried the msi e16m, ive tried the ktc m27p6, both of them were good monitors with really awful firmware that actively made the picture worse when dimming was enabled. im talking inverse bloom inches wide A

Deciding on the KTC M27P6 vs Koorui S2741LM

I had the KTC M27P6, and I compared it to the Samsung G80SD. The G80SD on TrueBlack400 had much higher picture quality and color brightness than the M27P6. The M27P6 matte coating is really oily looking and didn't seem to actually be as bright as it should've been. Compared to the G80SD, at least, t

Miniled blooming or haloing in dark areas

probably. the tech is really good but god most of the models on the market are just awful... for example, the ktc m27p6 and msi e16m that keep coming up in recommendations? somehow they managed to bungle it so hard that it uses the wrong gamma values when dimming is enabled.

180Hz Miniled VA vs 240Hz IPS

You could buy the KTC M27P6 refurbished like new on eBay for $280 on sale to $360. I personally don't like the monitor because the IPS creates a lot of blooming, but it's an option.

KTC M27P6 good quality?

Hey! I just got a KTC M27P6 and on desktop pc it looks fine, bright and clear and pretty, but when connected to PS5 pro its sooooo ugly, so dark and dim, almost like HDR is off and no brightness whatsoever, its hideous. HDR is turned on within the ps5 settings. Why is it not booming bright like it s

IPS or MiniLed for PS5 Pro and Work

ive also used the ktc m27p6 and it definitely does not have better dimming. what it has is higher max brightness and an option to automatically toggle dimming if windows hdr is enabled/disabled. what it very critically doesnt have is the ability to fineturn the dimming strength well enough that most

No real monitor to upgrade to?

Not true, best mini led monitors is the 4 years old excellent Asus PG32UQX and the newer excellent BenQ EX321UX, both in 32". The Neo G8 is a joke, I check it in the past but nowhere near to Asus and BenQ, in 27" the KTC M27P6 not KTC M27T6. The MSI E16m is in the middle with a bad LD algorithm (I h
