What exactly are the current monitors missing in general and compared to TVs? I feel like this trend of relying on reviews and technical data is getting too far and people no longer look at a display to see if it looks good but instead analyze every spec and then decide if its good or not even if it

I have two setups at home. One for work (KTC M27P6 and MSI 274updfe16m) and one for gaming/personal stuff (oled/Asus Pg27ucdm). Colors across all three is excellent. HDR is excellent. Black levels are excellent too but perfect on the PG27UCDM. In mostly black or dim situations the minileds can have

KTC M27T6 is a 1440p VA Mini-LED I think Monitors Unboxed did a review on. I have the M27P6 (4k IPS version) and have loved it so far. https://us.ktcplay.com/products/27-inch-180hz-hdr1400-miniled-gaming-monitor

It's a bit disappointing that basically everybody doing reviews of miniled monitors mentions blooming but never inverse blooming, which is a way bigger problem in my experience especially with miniled IPS. I tried the KTC m27p6 for about 3 weeks and it's a big problem with the monitor. Anytime you h

Its a Chinese "budget" brand but still a solid known brand. A lot of paid ads ("reviews") about it so hard to know really. Its quite new, maybe in some time we will start to get "real" reviews of it. Specs look really good but there is only a little info about it online. I've seen a few reviews on R

KTC M27P6 • Text and display is significantly clearer and sharper at 27" 4K than 32" 4K • Very bright display, good for room with light • Local dimming makes black levels like OLED blacks

really good as long as you find one with a solid dimming algorithm this is the critical detail that one absolutely cannot overlook. ive tried the KTC m27p6, the MSI e16m, both of them had cripplingly bad problems with inverse bloom and incorrect gamma. despite their hardware being capable of an unam

I didn’t use a capture card with frame time graphs like Digital Foundry would, but it wasn’t just eye testing either. My monitor (KTC M27P6) shows the real-time FPS counter, and I tested the same areas multiple times while switching between Performance and Balanced mode in the same locations and sit

Mini LED kicks the shit out of Oled for HDR. Peak brightness is everything for HDR and seeing it on a good mini led is wild. I have a KTC M27P6 and it is mind blowing how good RE4 looks on it. Then having the ability to turn off the mini led function for programming is my main reason I got one. OLED

If you mainly play competitive shooters and your GPU is mid‑range, stick with 1440p class monitors like the AOC; you’ll actually use the refresh rate and HDR is already strong. If you’re leaning toward cinematic single‑player games, do some content creation, and have a high‑end GPU that can push 4K
