Why is mini-led so disappointing?

What exactly are the current monitors missing in general and compared to TVs? I feel like this trend of relying on reviews and technical data is getting too far and people no longer look at a display to see if it looks good but instead analyze every spec and then decide if its good or not even if it

4K Mini-LED Gaming Value - KTC M27P6 Review

I have two setups at home. One for work (KTC M27P6 and MSI 274updfe16m) and one for gaming/personal stuff (oled/Asus Pg27ucdm). Colors across all three is excellent. HDR is excellent. Black levels are excellent too but perfect on the PG27UCDM. In mostly black or dim situations the minileds can have

Avoid the TCL 27R94 if you're looking for a MiniLED Monitor

Lol I returned mine next day because of the awful gamma shift and vrr flicker. Makes me really question reviews too because nobody ever mentions it when talking about va/hva monitors. You should maybe consider returning it and getting an M27P6. I know I sound like a shill, but its the best all round

4K Mini-LED Gaming Monitor Round-Up: What Model Is Best?

It's a bit disappointing that basically everybody doing reviews of miniled monitors mentions blooming but never inverse blooming, which is a way bigger problem in my experience especially with miniled IPS. I tried the KTC m27p6 for about 3 weeks and it's a big problem with the monitor. Anytime you h

Best 27inch 4k monitor under $500-$600 to buy right now?

Ktc m27p6 or msi mag e16m. Both use the same panel. The ktc is brighter while the msi has better contrast. Both are very similar and also have dual mode (you can run 1080 at 320 Hz for competitive fps). Those are both mini led so no burn in and awesome hdr very close to OLED.

Best 4K monitor under $700 for Graphic Design and PS5?

KTC M27P6 ($424.39 at Amazon) 4K@160Hz / FHD@320Hz, MiniLED (IPS), HDR (1400) The display is described as having 98% DCI-P3 and 97% Adobe RGB color gamut. The review by DisplayNinja says that the sRGB is calibrated well, but that while the monitor has a wide color gamut, the other profiles (Adobe RG

KTC M27T6 vs AOC Q27G4ZMN?

I have both at the moment, and also the M27P6. I’ve been testing them for hours now and tbh I’m leaning towards the AOC. First I compared the G4ZMN with the T6, expecting the T6 to be better since it has a higher HDR certification, but no. The G4ZMN was brighter and could hold color at higher bright

OLED gaming monitor VS top tier CRT. Doesn’t get much better than a CRT for gaming, IMO.

I get where you are coming from but when it comes down to it a 320hz OLED just beats a 320hz LCD its like IPS vs VA the VA is acceptable but for competitive you would rather get the IPS for casual the VA is great And again competitive is the key word casual folks dont need OLED thats for sure and he

Drawbacks of Mini LED that no one talks about

Mini LED kicks the shit out of Oled for HDR. Peak brightness is everything for HDR and seeing it on a good mini led is wild. I have a KTC M27P6 and it is mind blowing how good RE4 looks on it. Then having the ability to turn off the mini led function for programming is my main reason I got one. OLED
