You'd be far better off buying a pair of bookshelf speakers or studio monitors and then separately a subwoofer. KRK Rokit 5s and a Rokit sub would be more than adequate for home listening. The HS5s aren't flat though, they have a horrible peak in the mids that almost everyone complains about. I find my rokit 5 G4s genuinely sound good, don't know what krk did as people always slated the earlier rokits but the G4s are impressive.
