Can someone confirm to me whether I made a good choice by buying the most popular DJ headphone ever made? I'm too lazy to look up anything before a purchase, so I'm just going to ask this really stupid question to Reddit after the fact.
Personally, I think they're the DJ equivalent of being a basic bitch. Oh yes, you super unique DJ with your HD-25, KRK Rokit 5s, and some overpriced DJM/CDJ/XDJ/DDJ combo playing some Handbag Corpo House shit from the Beatport Top 100.

Speakers and amp suggestions to give?
You'd be far better off buying a pair of bookshelf speakers or studio monitors and then separately a subwoofer. KRK Rokit 5s and a Rokit sub would be more than adequate for home listening. Could go with something flatter but orchestral music and other stuff that needs treble detail is fine on Rokits

400 euros budget for "home studio"
getting one monitor is crazy. get a pair of used krk rokit 5s and the sm7b is a good call, depending what you’re using it for. You may rather have an sm57 or sm58 depending what you want to do €400 is not that much for this stuff so realistically you should be looking at entry level pro gear, not ov

Studio monitors sound thin compared to headphones
The HS5s aren't flat though, they have a horrible peak in the mids that almost everyone complains about. I find my rokit 5 G4s genuinely sound good, don't know what krk did as people always slated the earlier rokits but the G4s are impressive.

New Monitor Speakers
Those Behringers are decent for the price but you might want to check out the KRK Rokit 5s or Yamaha HS5s instead - they're pretty much the gold standard for bedroom producers and synth setups. The KRKs especially have that low end punch you're looking for without being too muddy, and they won't bre

Budget speaker recommendations for portable jam setup
small, budget, don’t sound horrible, pick two I like my JBL Go for casual Bluetooth listening but it doesn’t have aux in. I would just find a decent Bluetooth speaker with an aux in for outside. If you’re trying to annoy the neighborhood you could get one of those portable guitar amps with a battery

Studio monitors
Krk rokit 5's or rokit 8's.... I've had my rokit 5's for 12-13 years, they are crystal clear, they pack a punch and still perform like new.

What monitors are you rocking and do you rate them?
KRK Rokit 8s for long throw and Rokit 5s on my desk. I will only buy these. Gibson owns them and their support is phenomenal

New to DJing, need advice!
welcome to the wormhole this can get expensive if it escalates haha What kind of music are you looking to play (has big influence on where you get music from) Software - rekordbox is pretty standard and what most use. It is compatible with the vast majority of hardware players and controllers and in

What studio monitors do you recommend these days? I’m looking to buy a new pair of studio monitors
I haven't checked prices, but a used pair of KRK Rokit 5's would be an upgrade depending on the cost.
