Honestly they're equally bad. They have the exact same mechanism and tiny built-in speakers. So same thing in a different package. If the budget is so tight I would maybe think on getting a pair of reasonably good sounding active speaker to connect your phone to. It will have much better sound and y

Those Behringers are decent for the price but you might want to check out the KRK Rokit 5s or Yamaha HS5s instead - they're pretty much the gold standard for bedroom producers and synth setups. The KRKs especially have that low end punch you're looking for without being too muddy, and they won't bre

You’ll need a computer that’s as powerful as your budget will allow, ideally spending around $1000 for a really nice computer. After that it’s not really necessary unless you’re going legit aka professional. MacBook Airs are good enough for the job and those are 1000 bucks. Macbook pros can handle a

I bought a decent brand from that website, i bought active monitors, krk rokit5 rp5, which is my favorite brand, right next to Genelec. And the soundcard i bought, better than scarlett focusrite 2i2. i bought a volt2 soundcard. And they do sell high qual studio equipment, e.g. they actually do sell

I do not really know this. I only read an overall suggestion in using KRK for Bass-oriented electronic music and this is why i bought them for DJ sets. But my Adam F5 are a lot more bass defined and round then krk rp5 g5. I would say the adam seems at least 2 times more powerful and defined in the b

Personally, I think everything is far more noticeable in headphones, headphones reveals the slightest change in guitar tone, and most of the times I think the tone for guitar is sometimes better to listen in a good set of speakers or with a real cab, due to the "in the room" and not "in the ear" fee

I had a set of old krk rokit 5s with the 10" sub many years ago, and selling those has to be one of the biggest regrets I cary with me, haha. I know there is better stuff out there now, but how that tiny setup could move a house almost 20 years ago was amazing.

It's interesting to hear you found the mono experience to seemingly be less aggressive. Just remember that it will only work as long as there needs to be one and one only speaker producing the sound for it to work. Listening in mono on a stereo pair would defeat the entire purpose of the exercise. N

Hello, just to say, also the ADAM F5 has the reflex on the front, so the same of the KRK. You are maybe confusing them with the ADAM T5V. Said that I am using the KRK RP5 G5, and again, in same conditions, the KRK sounds really so flat and with poor bass. I cannot feel the punchy and round feeling o

I was in the same position as you are 4 months ago and bought KRK Rokit RP7 G5 with monitor stands (total 480 €). RP7 is definitely too much for my room, but they definitely don't lack bass and i am happy with them. Anyways RP5 should also be fine.
