Any suggestions on an e-reader that can take notes?
Aside from an iPad, there are e‑ink readers that let you write and annotate with a stylus so you can read and take notes without the eye strain of a regular tablet: the Amazon Kindle Scribe has built‑in note taking right on books and notebooks, and devices like the Kobo Elipsa 2E or Onyx/Boox Note/G

First time user... want to buy a elink device.
If it's for note taking and PDF reading you'll probably need something bigger which is more expensive. I'd steer away from Amazon at the moment as their focus seems to be locking down their ecosystem rather than making improvements. I don't have any experience of this market apart from a little time

Which large e-reader to buy?
for durability and just reading, kindle scribe gen 2 is actually a solid bet even though it's older - amazon supports devices for years. if you want to avoid amazon, the Kobo Elipsa 2E is your best canadian option. boox hardware is nice but android updates can be spotty after a couple years. i'd lea

Anything better than the Boox Go 10.3 (Gen 2) Lumi for manga?
I'm in the same boat. There doesn't really seem to be a better option. I would get the Kobo Elipsa 2e because I love my Libra 2, but I need Android to sync my manga.

What's The Best E-Reader To Go With If You're Buying Today?
Unless you specifically want your reader to also be a full blown Android tablet, pretty much anything from Kobo or PocketBook should do you just fine. 10 inch: B&W - Kobo Elipsa 2E, PocketBook InkPad Lite 8 inch: B&W - Kobo Sage, PocketBook InkPad 4 Color - PocketBook InkPad Color 3 7 inch B&W - Kob

Recomandari Ereader

E Reader solely for pdfs
i was in the exact same boat reading academic papers. for PDFs, screen size is everything. the Boox Note Air 3 C is 10.3 inches and handles PDFs like a dream with great note-taking. if that's too pricey, the Kobo Elipsa 2E is a solid, slightly cheaper option that's also fantastic for PDFs and comes
