New Kobo Page Turner Confirmed

I have absolutely no need for this, but I truly appreciate that Kobo is offering an official page turner as an accessory. It shows they understand their users. I think it's priced a little bit too high for what it is, but I can see this being discounted in the near future. I'm still hoping Kobo will

Are there new models coming?

Unless there are some insiders in this sub who know different, I have a feeling that Kobo is trying to hunker down a little when it comes to their product line, and that we likely won't get more than a new (probably white) colourway to go along with the new Clara Colour White before the summer/fall

New PocketBook: InkPad One

Honestly? Kinda underwhelming. I've been hoping for a higher resolution upgrade to the InkPad Lite (9.7 inch, 150 ppi) but this is only 226 ppi while basically everything else is 300. And no page turn buttons. It's basically the same specs as the Kobo Elipsa 2E, more of a note taker than a reader.

Long time e-reader user. I’m disappointed with a modern device

From what I’ve read is that Pocketbook is sub subpar compared to Kobo and Boox. I would be very careful drawing such drastic conclusions that modern e-readers are worse than older ones based on your two only ereaders… I have Kobos (Libra Colour, Clara B&W and Elipsa 2E) and all of them are snappy an

Help me decide on a Kobo, please

The screen door effect is specifically related to colour screens, so the Kobo Libra Colour and Kobo Clara Colour won't be good for you in that case (I'm saying this as someone who has a KLC and loves it, no issue with the screen for me). From what I understand, colour screens from other brands will

PLEASE give me a big "yes" or a big "no" on some of the devices I'm considering

I used to love the idea of a color e-reader, even suggested the Kobo Libra Colour a few times. But once I was hands on with one and saw how much worse the screen is in comparison to its BW counterparts, I gave up on the idea for now. Unless you like reading graphic novels that need color, I would su

Clara just reset herself

Would you like to see book covers in colors? Would you like to hightlight in different colors? Then choose Clara Colour (6”) But if you want all of those above, plus reading comics and graphic novels but also want to take a note for added feature upgrade, buy Libra Colour (7”). Or want a crispy text

Lost in the E-reader world: Seeking a 10.3" device for Manga/Comics to replace my 2011 Kindle

Kobo Elipsa 2e. Great size with a good screen. You can also take some notes on it.

Thinking to buy Libra Colour and a stylus for it - question(s)

Check out the ReMarkable and the SuperNote. The Kobo Libra Color is a great device, but it is an eReader with notes/markups bolted on. As such, it doesn’t do that task as well. And specially with PDFs, the screen size will be an issue. The ReMarkable 2 or Paper Pro, or the SuperNote is a note taking

Buy Kobo Clara BW now or wait for new models?

I bought it but I have given it to my mom. Now I use Kobo Elipsa 2E because of its larger screen. Don't get me wrong, the Clara is a great on the go device, BUT, the lack of Google Drive Support kills it for me as all my collection is in the cloud.
