Long time e-reader user. I’m disappointed with a modern device

From what I’ve read is that Pocketbook is sub subpar compared to Kobo and Boox. I would be very careful drawing such drastic conclusions that modern e-readers are worse than older ones based on your two only ereaders… I have Kobos (Libra Colour, Clara B&W and Elipsa 2E) and all of them are snappy an

📚 Daily Romancelandia Chat 📚

I got a small bonus at work and while most of it went to boring, adult bullshit like student loans and braces for the kids, I was able funnel some of it to a deal on a Kobo Elipsa 2e. I haven't had a dedicated eReader before and I'm excited to get something a little bigger than my phone that will ho

Which E-Reader 2025?

There's a massive difference between these two. I think you have to decide what it is you want it for, but I can think of at least one option that might fit all use cases. If reading is your primary focus, the Kobo Libra Colour is your best option. It's designed for reading books and you will get we

I’m confused about what size to get for my first ereader… 6”-7” appears to be most popular, but seems so small to me. What am I missing?

I have a Kobo Elipsa 2e that has a 10.3” screen and a Kindle Paperwhite. I looove the kobo for home use and I baby it, while the kindle gets tossed in my bag, or stuffed in a coat pocket and travels around with me. If I lost or broke it, I wouldn’t be too concerned. But that big screen really does i

Is the Kobo Sage still the move for a B&W purist in 2026? Or is there something better?

The Kobo Elipsa 2e is 10" but super light for its size, snappy, and to my eyes, the perfect guaranteed size for all sorts of manga. Just don't bother with its stylus at all.

Looking for e-reader without android

Actually a Boox Go10 would be a good fit for you. The size is perfect for PDFs and you could run them on Moonreader or Readera. There is zero allure to use these readers to anything else as reading. You would need to download actively any apps to even check your email and it is slow and cumbersome a

Will I regret upgrading to Kobo Libra Colour from Kobo Sage?

I am confused... do you have a Sage or an Elipsa now? Or Both? The weight distribution of the Sage is great exactly because of the small battery. I personally am glad about it as a bigger battery would just have made it that much heavier. And the Sage already has a USB-C port. And charging every 2 w

Anyone tried a digital notebook and found it useful?

I use a kobo elipsa 2e Its both an enotebook and an ereader, so you can have all the convenience of multiple notebooks/folders/backups and also have all your books to read as well. Works well for me. Not the most most convenient, its slightly too big, but I use it an awful lot. Writing things down i
