Lost in the E-reader world: Seeking a 10.3" device for Manga/Comics to replace my 2011 Kindle

Kobo Elipsa 2e. Great size with a good screen. You can also take some notes on it.

📚 Daily Romancelandia Chat 📚

I got a small bonus at work and while most of it went to boring, adult bullshit like student loans and braces for the kids, I was able funnel some of it to a deal on a Kobo Elipsa 2e. I haven't had a dedicated eReader before and I'm excited to get something a little bigger than my phone that will ho

I absolutely cannot decide on a model and it's driving me mad

In your case, top priority would be to identify exactly what you want to use the device for. Some uses simply can not be combined in one device; "large for reading/annotating pdf's and small to carry it around easily ", "very sharp contrast and also colour+front light". That is why choices have to b

I’m confused about what size to get for my first ereader… 6”-7” appears to be most popular, but seems so small to me. What am I missing?

I have a Kobo Elipsa 2e that has a 10.3” screen and a Kindle Paperwhite. I looove the kobo for home use and I baby it, while the kindle gets tossed in my bag, or stuffed in a coat pocket and travels around with me. If I lost or broke it, I wouldn’t be too concerned. But that big screen really does i

Is the Kobo Sage still the move for a B&W purist in 2026? Or is there something better?

The Kobo Elipsa 2e is 10" but super light for its size, snappy, and to my eyes, the perfect guaranteed size for all sorts of manga. Just don't bother with its stylus at all.

Need help with my first ereader please!

Color e-ink is still pretty niche, so good that you're thinking about it early. For specialist books and journals with graphics/charts, the Kobo Libra Colour or Kobo Elipsa 2E are worth looking at — they have color e-ink displays that actually handle diagrams reasonably well without destroying your

Switching from 6 inch ereader to 10 inch ereader. Which one to get?

IF just strictly reading on the size 10" on a platform you are familiar, but feels so much faster, the Kobo Elipsa 2e is very good for that. Since you don't use it for writing or drawing, it's even better cuz that Elipsa is not a good note taker, but as basic ereader for that size and speed, perfect

Which eReader is best for exclusively reading from libraries (in the USA) & pdfs (downloaded)

For your use case, I would recommend the Kobo Elipsa 2E. You need as large a screen as possible for PDFs of things like maps, textbooks and cookbooks, basically anything with pictures. If you are just reading PDFs of normal prose books, then any Kobo will do, although it would be best to convert the

Any suggestions on an e-reader that can take notes?

Aside from an iPad, there are e‑ink readers that let you write and annotate with a stylus so you can read and take notes without the eye strain of a regular tablet: the Amazon Kindle Scribe has built‑in note taking right on books and notebooks, and devices like the Kobo Elipsa 2E or Onyx/Boox Note/G

New Price Changes for PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal remote player

I still find a tablet of some variety easier for manga, simply because the way I get my manga works better there and I tend to like larger devices for those. There are larger eInk devices that run Android which would get around this, but they tend to be more expensive. That being said, all modern eR
