New PocketBook: InkPad One

Honestly? Kinda underwhelming. I've been hoping for a higher resolution upgrade to the InkPad Lite (9.7 inch, 150 ppi) but this is only 226 ppi while basically everything else is 300. And no page turn buttons. It's basically the same specs as the Kobo Elipsa 2E, more of a note taker than a reader.

Kobo v kindle

Ya, that's fine, I'm not arguing that the Kindle is better for large custom epub libraries, I'm arguing against your point that the Kindle isn't a good fit for people living in other countries. I use Calibre too, and with the Kindle plugged-in you can transfer 100 books at once, super easily, and it

So smartphones suck and there's nothing obviously worthy to upgrade to these days. What about eink phones like Boox Palma and TCL NXTPAPER?

I feel that my phone overwhelms me these days. To the point where it feels good to not use it at all. Then I remembered the time when I used to read a lot on my phone and it was honestly the calmest time in my life, right now I want to get back to it but I dont know how. Browsing through this sub ma

Boox go 10.3 lumi reviews?

I had a problem with reading books for longer then 10 mins on my Kobo Elipsa 2E because of the reddish warm light and blurry rendered letters. Had to return it due to that reason. All of the videos about Boox Go 10.3 Gen 2 are done in very bright environments with perfect light which is quite rare s

Some photos of the Go 10.3 and Go 10.3 II Lumi

Could you please share some photos of the regular book (POV and close) with frontlight similar to real book (slightly warm) in nearly dark room? Do you feel that the light is coming from the screen like on regular screen (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or it is not direct to the viewer? I am asking for i

Response from TCL on returns on Note AI

I ignored box for the longest cause of android being a battery killer. I have a few eReaders including the kobo libra colour and wanted something similar but bigger for studying purposes. Color highlighting annotations. Kobo elipsa 2e by now is too old and wouldn't be worth it. I'm not limited with

This is a "What would you recommend" type post

I've been debating between Sage and Elipsa (or Elipsa 2Ee). The Sage is said to have better PPI but also a lot buggier, according to this review. 8" does seem like the perfect size. It's out of my price range, though. I guess around 200 USD is the standard per this level of specs (I use CAD, which w
