Does the Kobo remote work on koreader?
Yes, I got it working with this plugin: https://ogkevin.github.io/kobo.koplugin/features/bluetooth.html. This with the Kobo Elipsa 2E

Any suggestions on an e-reader that can take notes?
Aside from an iPad, there are e‑ink readers that let you write and annotate with a stylus so you can read and take notes without the eye strain of a regular tablet: the Amazon Kindle Scribe has built‑in note taking right on books and notebooks, and devices like the Kobo Elipsa 2E or Onyx/Boox Note/G

A few questions about Pocketbook Era and Libra Color 2
Nice! Unfortunately no, but you can convert online before adding to drive with kepubify, and it only takes a second! https://pgaskin.net/kepubify/try/ I do that when I download a fic on my phone. There's also a kepubify program you can use if you prefer when you're on a computer, or Calibre can conv

Will I regret upgrading to Kobo Libra Colour from Kobo Sage?
I am confused... do you have a Sage or an Elipsa now? Or Both? The weight distribution of the Sage is great exactly because of the small battery. I personally am glad about it as a bigger battery would just have made it that much heavier. And the Sage already has a USB-C port. And charging every 2 w

Anything better than the Boox Go 10.3 (Gen 2) Lumi for manga?
I'm in the same boat. There doesn't really seem to be a better option. I would get the Kobo Elipsa 2e because I love my Libra 2, but I need Android to sync my manga.

Best eReader using Annas Archive
The Kobo Elipsa 2E! I did an extensive amount of research before settling on this one. Having used it for a year now, I can confidently say it is incredible. It is the only one that ticked all my boxes: Big screen (10.3-inch) Has a stylus (note-taking, writing directly on pages, highlighting, annota

My Kindle is an ad filled wasteland and I regret buying it.
I had a Kindle for years, 3 different models to boot. Last year when my oasis died, I said fuck it and bought a Kobo Elipsa 2e and I have zero regrets. One big thing is Crapazon started send to kindle when I wanted to load non-Crapazon book purchases. My Kobo is flawless with USB and Calibre. Only q
