I got A- for my first assessment which is pretty good considering I hadn't done any of the reading at all because of the funeral. My big uni Kobo arrived today so I can get into doing all the readings I've got to do. My old Kobo is for reading novels and fun stuff, the new one is for important readi

I’m confused about what size to get for my first ereader… 6”-7” appears to be most popular, but seems so small to me. What am I missing?
I have a Kobo Elipsa 2e that has a 10.3” screen and a Kindle Paperwhite. I looove the kobo for home use and I baby it, while the kindle gets tossed in my bag, or stuffed in a coat pocket and travels around with me. If I lost or broke it, I wouldn’t be too concerned. But that big screen really does i

Is the Kobo Sage still the move for a B&W purist in 2026? Or is there something better?
The Kobo Elipsa 2e is 10" but super light for its size, snappy, and to my eyes, the perfect guaranteed size for all sorts of manga. Just don't bother with its stylus at all.

I want to buy the Onyx Boox Go 10.3
Tbf Boox go has best cost to value of any eink notetaking tablet market. Great choice to start from. Try jot to look too much into the rabbit hole or it will swallow you :) Remarkable is a nice choice if your note tech savvy. Supernote is great if you have the budget for it. Boox is a great eink and

Libby only device?
I really hope other brands follow in these footsteps. I would also appreciate it if Kobo launched repair parts for their older models, at least the ones that they still sell (like the Elipsa 2E). This industry has a big repair problem.

Which large e-reader to buy?
for durability and just reading, kindle scribe gen 2 is actually a solid bet even though it's older - amazon supports devices for years. if you want to avoid amazon, the Kobo Elipsa 2E is your best canadian option. boox hardware is nice but android updates can be spotty after a couple years. i'd lea

I have a lot of ebooks and like large screens what should I get
Just got a Kobo Elipsa 2e. Screen is big and looks great and it has lots of storage. I don’t think it’s waterproof, but that’s not a feature I was seeking.

I'm 64 and read a lot of books held close to my face with a weak left eye. I also use new 20"-away RX computer glasses. What e-readers would you recommend? I suspect the larger screen, the better, but please educate me on features, etc, for old eyes that want to continue reading forever.
Thanks for that! I'd love the Sage and hope it comes back. Or maybe I'll splurge for the Kobo Elipsa 2E with the 10.3" display -- I think I would like a larger screen even if my font size won't be very big (just a little bit larger). If this is something that I could use a long time, for many years,
