It was this very moment that I knew….

Both too much and not enough. lol I paid $685 all in for the Yamaha A-S801. I paid $302 all in for the Klipschs RP-500m iis. Both ebay deals. But if you factor in the money I lost through trial and error before this set up probably $1,500 sunk cost to get here. 😅

Im looking for budget speakers for a small bedroom

Small note/reminder that Klipsch speakers aren’t “sensitive” (besides maybe the Heritage series products): EAC review of Klipsch RP-500M II Erin’s Audio Corner YT clip - BS Speaker Sensitivity Ratings and “Dynamics”

Klipsch RP-500M and RP-600M seem popular here, but there are mixed opinions. Audiophiles mostly against. They’re a good size for small and medium rooms, but they’re sort of forward and punchy. It’s like midrange down, bass and treble up.
