I can’t tell you how excited I am to have this on my desk

Sounds thick if that makes sense. Like peanut butter for your ears. Lol The speakers I’m running are Klipsch RP-500m ii and they can get kind of sharp at times. This kind of rounded them off and added some extra weight in the mids without stripping the Klipschs of what makes them good to me. Definit

New temporary house setup

$220 is a great deal for the older model. The RP-600M II are a clear improvement, but not for that difference in price. Keep in mind that the RP-600M (both older and new models) are huge and will take up a large amount of desk space. OP has the smaller RP-500M II.

New to turntable - help with set up for AT LP120xusb or alternatives

Get the Klipsch RP-500m II 100%, do not mess with the R50m. I sent my R50m back. The midrange is worth it on the RP. They are my daily drivers with a Fosi X2 and Sony STRDH190, very happy with that setup. Cant go wrong with Fosi.

Im looking for budget speakers for a small bedroom

I’d take a look at the Klipsch RP-500M II. They sound fantastic for the money and, in my opinion, look great too. You’ll need to pair them with an amp, but their high sensitivity means they’re easy to drive. If you’re on a tight budget, I’d go with a WiiM Amp. It should handle them nicely, and you a

Looking to get into vinyl. Need a setup.

Check out r/turntables, but here’s my system and I’m really happy with it. Well below $2k Turntable: Fluance Rt-82 - $349. Great, well-regarded TT and you can upgrade the cartridge later if you want (I’m really happy with the stock one) Amp: Onkyo TX-8260 - $399. Has a phono stage, so you can skip g

It was this very moment that I knew….

Both too much and not enough. lol I paid $685 all in for the Yamaha A-S801. I paid $302 all in for the Klipschs RP-500m iis. Both ebay deals. But if you factor in the money I lost through trial and error before this set up probably $1,500 sunk cost to get here. 😅

New turntable day!

Nice! I have the Klipsch R-50m. Thinking of swapping them for a pair of the RP-500M II though. How does the AT-VM745xML compare to say the VM95ML? Beautiful cart.

Smoking Fluance RT85: Wrong Power Adapter used

Music Hall looks super cool. Will have to read more. Current setup is Schiit Mani 2 Preamp, Yamaha AS301 Amp, and the Klipsch RP-500M II (I hear these speakers are controversial, but I got a great deal on them the other year). I'm assuming no damage to cartridge (hopefully) so really I guess I just

Smoking Fluance RT85: Wrong Power Adapter used

Klipsch RP-500M II are ok when discounted at least 30% since Klipsch MSRP is rather overpriced. Klipsch and Ortofon are both on the bright side of neutral so you may want to switch one or both to warm or more neutral options if your ears are getting fatigued after an hour of listening. Klipsch can b

r/AudioEngineering Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk

Hi, to start things off, I know nothing about how to properly hook up nice speakers, and I’ve just been gifted a set of Klipsch Rp-500M speakers. These are replacing what I can only describe as Sony boombox speakers from the late 90’s, so a big upgrade. I also received some 14/2 speaker wire to go w
