do I need to send this back or is it just cosmetic ?

Still will be fine, prob just flatten in out a bit before installing into the board heatsink(if board has a heatsink built in). Once up and running, prob double check the serial number for the SSD is being properly recognized(worse case, someone switched the foil sticker, but could be just fine). Co

Pc build help

I'd personaly will spend less on the case. There are many pc cases with lower price and better ventilation. Corsair psus are one of the best and for sure the most durable, but it seems that 3.3v line has some minor non criyical issues on 2025 model Never heard of this ssd, sounds like some kind of c

WIN 11 / BSOD / INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE / Error 0X7B

Did you solve it? I had exactly the same issue for five years. I also run Win 11 with a Kingston KC3000, different mobo (ASUS ROG Z790). I also had other stability and sluggish issues Here is how I finally fixed mine. Install the Kingston firmware (currently there is is only one update for KC3000) f

Updated PC plan

Yeah you could possibly go a 7700X for the CPU. And with the SSD, brands like Kingston and Lexar and great and dont cost as much as samsung. I personally have a Kingston KC3000 2tb SSD and it has been reliable. You could then put that money towards a 9070 or 9070 XT. EDIT: I hit reply i dont know wh

Cat de mare e riscul ca un GPU (sau un CPU) să fie dead on arrival?

Eu zic sa iei cat mai repede.Am luat in noiembrie un SSD de 2 TB. Acum e dublu la pret. Ffs. (Kingston KC3000 2TB) Nu am patit sa am un DOA GPU/CPU pana acum. Daca combin comenzile mele cu ale familiei, am peste 30 de placi video si peste 20 de CPUs comandate pe PCgarage/Emag. Toate ok. Acestea fiin

Advice Before I buy

Smarter 2 TB buys right now • WD SN850X 2TB • Solidigm P44 Pro / P41 Plus • Crucial T500 → very strong gen4 option • Kingston KC3000 → underrated, fast, reliable Unless you really want Samsung , if plan on gaming samsung pro is pretty much overkill

High I/O on HDD ZFS pool makes whole PVE node sluggish

I had a similar issue with low end nvme(WD Black SN770). Everytime I run a backup task one of the drives just disappears from the PCI bus and the system crashes. It turns out that they use HBM(Host Buffer Memory) to set up cache in host memory. I am not sure if HBM was the real culprit but I switche
