Oni

Kingrinder P2 vs K2
If you do any sort of travel with your aeropress, I'd recommend looking at the 1zpresso Q2 (or Air, whatever they call it these days) because it fits in the plunger of the Aeropress. The Kingrinders do not. The Kingrinders numbers are a bit confusing, so you should be aware that the K2 is not actual

Best one?
Any day!! But q air & p2 will also get value. Ppl hardly ever sell them and fans get offended when u say that 1zp & kingrinder show more build quality issues vs timemore or comandante.

What grinder to get?
Neither. Avoid ceramic burrs. They don’t do a good job and create a lot of fines. Hard to recommend exactly without knowing what your budget is and what availability is where you’re located, but here are some good manual grinders to consider: All-around grinders that do well for all brew methods: -

CHEAP Coffee Burr Grinders?
I bought a Kingrinder P2 on sale for $40 about a month ago. The body is plastic, but the internals are the same as their full metal grinders. Works great for moka pot. My only complaint is that the basket is pretty small, so I have to grind my beans in two separate groups to fill my 4 cup moka expre

Should I just not buy cheap grinders? (1000Rs)
The Timemore C2S is premium feel, all-metal build quality, it can't do espresso grind. The Kingrinder P2 is a better choice for coffee enthusiasts looking for a sweeter cup profile and espresso versatility. The biggest+ve for P2 is that it's plastic, the catch cup will not deform on drop, and it's b

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
Hario grinders are pretty well known to be sub-par, I would try to find some posts featuring them and read some comments. KINgrinder would be a really solid pick but I think you're overselling the idea of "paying for espresso grind qualities". If it's down to affordability I'd grab whatever works fo

Shifting from instant.
I would recommend smth like kingrinder p2 over timemore. It's more cheaper and has more precise steps which will make a difference for moka pot However it is plastic or polycarbonate tho instead of aluminum like the c3

Equipment suggestion
Coming to specialty coffee and not trying black will make all the effort pointless. Whatever impression you have had about dark, bitter coffee will change once you learn to brew. Best beginner setup: pre-ground coffee plus french press Next level: get entry-level renowned manual grinder with good re
